STEP 1

Martin will visit your house to discuss your project, offering advice and suggestions. He will explore the protential of a number of different schemes.

Martin will give you a free quotation for preparation of the drawings and specifications for obtaining planning permission and building regulations.
As Martin has been a builder all his life he would be able to give you an estimate on the building costs.

STEP 2

Martin will prepare draft drawings and visit you to discuss the design and layouts and make any changes in order to get the best out of your project. When the drawings are finalized he will prepare all the drawings for planning permission and building regulations.

He will process the application through the council from start to finish.

If required Martin will draw up party wall notices for your neighbour.

He will make all necessary applications required to Thames Water for a bridge over agreement.

 

STEP 3

Martin will prepare the draft drawings and visit you to discuss any design changes and give you ideas regarding design options before the final drawings are prepared.

 

STEP 4

Martin will prepare all the drawings and specifications required and make the application to the council for Planning Permission and building regulations. We will also make all the necessary applications required to Thames Water for building over the sewer drain.

We have sample contracts for party wall agreements if required.

We will process the application through the council from start to finish.

 

STEP 5

When planning permission is granted he will present you with four full packages of drawings and specifications for your builders to work from. The drawings will be on A1, A2 and A3 sheets at a scale of 1:50

Paper drawings are far more practical for builders to work from than the shrunken electronic version that a lot of architects seem to provide these days.

He can recommend reputable builders to give you quotations and oversee the work if require
